In-Line Machine Flush
Our on-site service also gives us the capability to perform machine flushing. In cases where a heat exchange ruptures and floods the machine reservoir, we have the ability to reduce the oil saturation level beyond virgin oil levels. Our system has the capability of removing water content in oil below a 50 ppm level.
Benefits of this service include:
- Reduced machine downtime. The customer can continue to run the machine while our truck is flushing the system, thereby eliminating the loss of production.
- Reduced new oil purchasing. Customers do not need to replace the saturated oil in the reservoir and refill it with new oil.
- Total system flush. In running the machine while we are processing, machine lines are also flushed along with the reservoir.
- Excellent preventative maintenance. Using our flushing service reduces the risk of premature oil and machine failure.
The Effects of Water on a Lubricant
The presence of water in a lubricating oil can cause the progress of oxidation to increase tenfold, resulting in premature aging of the oil, particularly in the presence of catalytic metals such as copper, lead and tin.
